What is PaleyWKND?
PaleyWKND is the ultimate media, sports, gaming, and entertainment festival taking place in the heart of midtown Manhattan from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2. This live, immersive, once-in-a-lifetime, family-friendly, free and open to the public celebration will feature exciting, entertaining, and educational attractions and experiences both inside and outside The Paley Museum as Paley takes over 52nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues for the weekend. The festival is a tribute to New York City, and will bring together an incredible array of interactive experiences and immersive attractions from the exciting worlds of media, sports, gaming, and entertainment—there will be something for everyone!
Where is PaleyWKND, and how can I get there?
PaleyWKND takes over 52nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
By bus—Southbound on Fifth Avenue, Broadway, and Seventh Avenue; northbound on Madison Avenue and Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue).
By subway—E or M to Fifth Avenue and 53 Street; N, R, or W to 49 Street and Seventh Avenue; 1 to 50 Street and Broadway; B, D, F, or M to 47-50 Street/Rockefeller Center.

Do I need to book a ticket in advance?
In order to help us make your day spectacular, we recommend advance registration. Please let us know what day and time you plan to experience PaleyWKND! Additionally, we want to make sure you get all the latest news and updates for PaleyWKND. If you are unable to make your time, please know you are still welcome.
Is there a schedule of events?
Where can I park if I’m attending PaleyWKND?
Parking is available very close to the PaleyWKND festival at 101 West 53rd Street. For more information or to book your spot click here.
What is your Covid-19 safety policy?
Face coverings and proof of COVID-19 vaccination will not be required to enter PaleyWKND but we encourage them in large group gatherings. Learn more about Paley’s safety guidelines.
Are there any restricted items?
Restricted items include alcohol and any form or weaponry.
Can I leave the event and come back later?
Yes, you are permitted to leave the event and come back later.
When is last entry?
We recommend arriving no later than 5:00 pm to enjoy all the activities The Festival has to offer.
Any age requirements for PaleyWKND?
While there is no age requirement to attend PaleyWKND, some activities may have an age restriction.
Are there VIP tickets?
Yes! While PaleyWKND is free and open to all, VIP Member Benefits for PaleyWKND include an invitation to the Members-Only Exclusive Opening Night Preview & Cocktail Reception on Friday night, Members-Only hours and priority access lines on Saturday and Sunday, and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities all weekend long. Are dogs allowed?
Only service dogs are permitted inside The Paley Museum, but dogs are permitted in the festival if they are leashed.
Can I bring a bag?
Yes, bags are permitted, but please note that The Paley Center for Media reserves the right to inspect any or all bags, packages, purses, backpacks, etc. By entering you acknowledge and consent to the inspections.
Is photography permitted?
Yes, and we encourage you to share your photos on social with #PaleyWKND
Will there be security onsite?
Yes, there will be a security presence throughout the event
Can I bring food and drink?
You may bring your own snacks and we suggest you bring water, but no alcohol is permitted
Will there be alcoholic beverages to purchase onsite?
PaleyWKND will not sell or offer alcoholic beverages (outside of the VIP Cocktail Reception).
Is smoking permitted?
The Paley Museum does not allow smoking in its facility and prefers no smoking inside the festival area.
Is there a lost and found area?
Yes, there is a lost and found area inside The Paley Museum.
Are wheelchairs permitted?
Yes, The Paley Museum and the festival area are wheelchair accessible.
I reserved a ticket and I can no longer attend on that date. Can I exchange my ticket for a different date?
Yes, you should reserve a new ticket for the date you can attend.
Is this event rain or shine?
Yes, PaleyWKND will occur rain or shine!
My child has special needs; can they attend PaleyWKND?
We are expecting large crowds and if you feel your child will be comfortable in this environment, we encourage you to come and enjoy the day.
