Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel

HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel has been hailed by Entertainment Weekly as "one of the ten best shows of 2004" and "flat out TV's best sports program" by the Los Angeles Times. Launched in 1995, Real Sports travels beyond the box scores, presenting engaging insights into contemporary sports with provocative investigations, topical interviews, and compelling human interest stories.
The Museum will screen a special edition of Real Sports that features some of the most dramatic and intriguing stories from the past ten years. After the screening Today coanchor Matt Lauer will interview Bryant Gumbel about the history and the unique perspective of Real Sports.
Tickets are $15 ($12 for Museum members) and may be purchased in the Museum lobby during regular Museum hours (Tuesdays through Sundays, 12:00 to 6:00 p.m., and until 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays), or by calling the Museum at (212) 621-6600, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
