One of the first sitcom series to view life from child’s point of view, Leave it to Beaver is an American icon of the 1950s and '60s television era. The show featured the curious and naïve Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver, whose adventures at home, in school, and around his neighborhood lead him into trouble with his parents, June and Ward Cleaver, and his brother, Wally. Delighting in Beaver’s tendency for mischief, the show takes a humorous look at coming-of-age in mid-century America while showcasing a typical, middle-class family’s lifestyle. Leave it to Beaver aired for six seasons, documenting the growth of both boys while also openly discussing the challenges of parenthood.

Jerry Mathers, “Theodore ‘Beaver’ Cleaver”
Tony Dow, “Wally Cleaver”
Ken Osmond, "Eddie Haskell"
Frank Bank, "Clarence ‘Lumpy’ Rutherford"
