NBC’s high-concept thriller Blindspot opens with a beautiful woman emerging from a duffel bag in the middle of Times Square—naked, with no memories of her past, and tattoos completely covering her body. Her most prominent tattoo bears the name of FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), immediately sparking the interest of the FBI. This newly discovered Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) is brought into their world to help them solve some of the most incredible crimes happening in the world today. It’s the breakout new hit of this television season, thanks not only to the compelling mystery at the core (popular discourse on Twitter and Reddit), but also engaging characters who enrich the story with dimension and humanity. “It’s a television show for people who love television,” creator/executive producer Martin Gero told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s comedy, there’s crime, there’s mythology, there’s cases of the week, and there’s puzzles.” We can’t promise you we’ll solve any of the mysteries, but you’ll definitely have fun listening to Gero and the actors talk about them.
