Cocreator, costar, and cowriter of IFC’s critically acclaimed Portlandia and longtime cast member of Saturday Night Live, Fred Armisen is known for his many endearing characters and spot-on impressions, from politicians and rock stars to angry feminist bookstore owners and dumpster divers—a talent that comedy icon Bob Odenkirk acknowledged by referencing Armisen as “the most like Peter Sellers of anyone I’ve known” (“except he’s a nice guy”). Join us for a one-on-one conversation between Armisen and Portlandia cocreator/cowriter/director Jonathan Krisel, which is sure to provide some hilarious insights into one of sketch comedy’s brightest stars.
