Animals Distract Me
6:30 PM ET
The Paley Center has the perfect event for you for Earth Day: the New York premiere of Animals Distract Me, written and directed by Isabella Rossellini.
This highly engaging and witty film focuses on the animals that fascinate the iconic actress as she goes about her day in New York City. Whether it’s the microscopic demodex that live on her eyelashes or rats in the subway, Isabella asks deep questions about the ways of nature. Her attention is always distracted by the animal life around her, even as she attends a photo shoot, meets with Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley (watch a clip of Talley at a 2009 Paley Center event), or lunches with celebrity chef Mario Batali. This film showcases the brilliant and often fantastical mind of writer/director Isabella Rossellini and will premiere on Planet Green on April 23 at 10:00 pm.
