Class Description

In this class, we will explore the significance of legends, fables and folktales from around the globe including South Africa, Brazil, Greece, and the United States. Students will watch a selection of tales adapted for television and interpret the symbolism, meaning, and moral of the stories. Students will also have the opportunity to craft a collage inspired by one of the stories.

Class length: 90 minutes

All classes are interactive, with guided discussion designed to encourage active observation and critical thinking.
