Summary
One in this series of animated children's specials featuring the characters from the comic strip "Peanuts." In this program, Charlie Brown signs up as his school's only entrant in the grueling. ten-event decathlon in the upcoming junior Olympics. Charlie Brown fantasizes about becoming Bruce Jenner (who served as a consultant on the production), the 1976 Olympic Decathlon champion. On the day of the meet, Charlie Brown puts his mettle to the test against Fabulous Freddie (last year's winner), the mysterious "Masked Marvel" (from the Ace Obedience School), and last-minute entrant Marcie. This program was presented as part of the Museum of Broadcasting's screening series "Charlie Brown, A Boy For All Seasons: 20 Years on Television."
