ROOM 222: WHAT IS A MAN? (TV)

Summary

One in this series of dramas concerning the students and faculty of Walt Whitman High School. In this episode, Miss Johnson decides to put on a production of Shakepeare's "Twelfth Night" with an all-male cast. Howard, the young man playing the female lead, is ridiculed by other male students who assume that he is a homosexual. Though he pretends that their comments do not bother him, little by little Howard's sense of humor grows thin. He mistakenly believes that he must be something he is not in order to prove that he is a real man; though he suffers from asthma, he decides to try out for the track team. Includes commercials.
