Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the personal and professional life of Rob Petrie, the head comedy writer for television's "Alan Brady Show." In this episode, Laura discovers that Rob loaned money to Buddy when she finds the cancelled check, and she wonders why Rob won't ask Buddy to pay him back. Rob, who is reluctant to come right out and ask for the money, decides to write a comedy sketch about people owing and collecting debts, but it's not that funny. When Buddy, Sally, and Rob discuss the skit, Buddy points out that Rob actually owes him money, and in trying to settle up, they wind up creating a much funnier comedy sketch. Includes commercials.
