DEGRASSI JUNIOR HIGH: IT'S LATE (TV)

Summary

One in this half-hour drama series about the problems and adventures of adolescents who attend Degrassi Junior High School. In this episode, an eighth grader named Spike suspects that she is pregnant after having sex with her classmate Shane. She eventually confides in her mother, who accompanies her, along with Shane, to a clinic for a pregnancy test. Also in this episode, a student named Yick has a crush on a girl, Melanie, but is too shy to ask her for a date. (This series received Canada's Banff Festival award for Best Continuing Series.)
