Summary
A drama special produced for HBO. This two-person comedy stars Laurence Olivier as Mr. Halpern, an elderly Jewish widower. At the funeral of his wife, Florence, Halpern meets Mr. Johnson (Jackie Gleason), who surprises him with the disclosure that he and Florence had maintained a close friendship for the last 40 years. As the two men converse and argue, each reveals aspects of himself and his relationship with Florence. At the end, Halpern and Johnson agree to meet again. No commercials.
