Summary
The premiere of this filmed adventure series.
Trying to drive to Biloxi, Tod and Buz get lost and end up in a small town called Garth with their Corvette broken down. The townspeople are inexplicably unfriendly. After a fight with mill worker Thad, an encounter with Jenny and her father, and another fight at the general store, they go to see Mr. Garth, the rich man who runs the town. In front of them, Garth slaps his son, Paul, to the ground, then decides to let them stay in town overnight to get their car repaired. Out walking with Jenny that night, Tod learns the secret that the town is covering up, which concerns a lynching led by Garth fifteen years earlier. Garth nearly gets the townsfolk to lynch Tod and Buz, but Paul persuades them not to repeat their terrible mistake. Commercials deleted.
