Summary
One in this live dramatic anthology series. This drama presents the story of Cotton Kinney, a hill-country boy whose parents do not get him the dog he desperately wants for his birthday. Cotton idolizes Blackie Scantling, a raccoon-hunting drifter, who takes him on a hunt. Their hunt is interrupted when friends of Blackie's have a baby; at the ensuing celebration Cotton becomes jealous of the attention Blackie pays to a young woman. Further conflict arises when Blackie gets into a fight with the bully Hog Waller, prompting Cotton to reconsider his idolization of Blackie. Includes commercials, a promo for "Westinghouse Pro Football" and the half-time quiz game.
