CREATIVITY WITH BILL MOYERS: SAMSON RAPHAELSON (TV)

Summary

One in this documentary series, hosted by Bill Moyers, that explores the enigma of creativity by profiling individual creators. In this program, Moyers profiles the work of writer Samuel Raphaelson. Raphaelson comments on his work and the success of "The Jazz Singer," the hit Broadway musical which he wrote in 1925. Clips of the film version of the play and a discussion of director Ernest Lubitsch are included.
