Summary
The premiere of this series of legal dramas set in the Los Angeles law firm of McKenzie Brackman. In this episode, Roxanne finds that Mr. Cheney, one of the senior partners, has died in his office; Michael Kuzak defends a man accused of raping a woman who is dying of leukemia; divorce lawyer Arnold Becker convinces his client to seek a profitable settlement from her husband; Ann Kelsey and Abby Perkins confront an insurance company that refuses to pay their clients' medical bills; and Victor Sifuentes joins the firm.
