Summary
This one-hour documentary produced by WMC-TV in Memphis, Tenn., chronicles the performance of the musical "Hair" at Memphis State University in the spring of 1970. Dr. Keith Kennedy, director of the theater department, discusses the efforts to convince the university administration to permit production of the play. Protests against the production are examined.
