TAXI: BOBBY'S BIG BREAK (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the employees of a New York City cab company. In this episode, soap opera fever strikes the garage when Bobby auditions for the part of "Skip," the long-lost beau of "Olivia" on the popular daytime serial "For Better, For Worse." When Bobby is offered a recurring role, he tears up his hack license and confidently vows never to return to his job as a cabbie, but Louie knows he'll be back. Several weeks later, the character of Skip is suddenly killed off in a horrible accident, and Bobby's lifelong dream of being a professional actor is again put on hold. Despite sympathy from the gang, he hesitates to ask for his old job back, knowing he'll have to face Louie's gloating. Includes promos and a public service reminder from the U.S. Postal Service.
