Summary

One in this series of dramatic specials presented by Hallmark. This play dramatizes the accomplishments and relationships of Queen Victoria, who ruled the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837-1901. Victoria's life is told through a series of vignettes that highlight her succession to the throne, her marriage to German Prince Albert in 1840 and her dedication to maintaining the sovereignty of the United Kingdom. Also explored are Victoria's relationships with her mother Victoria Mary Louisa; Lord Melbourne; and Disraeli, Lord Beaconsfield. Includes commercials, promos, and a public service announcement.
