CHEERS: THE BOYS IN THE BAR (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about a group of regulars at a Boston bar. In this episode, Sam's best friend from his baseball days reveals that he is gay. When Sam supports his old friend Tom by taking publicity photos with him at Cheers, the regulars in the bar panic. They fear that Cheers will turn into a gay bar after the pictures are seen by the public. The crowd's worst fears appear to be confirmed when Diane tells them that there are two gay men in the bar. The barflies hold a meeting in the back room and decide that the gay men must be removed from the bar. When Sam refuses to do so, the regulars take action on their own. Commercials deleted.
