Summary
One in this series of police dramas about the personal and professional lives of the officers of Hill Street Station, a precinct located in a run-down urban area. In this episode, Capt. Furillo takes the stand before a commission investigating corruption within the force; J.D. and Washington apprehend a fellow officer with a drug problem; Coffey expresses his feelings for Officer Lucy Bates, who competes in the interdepartmental poker finals; Hill and Renko work undercover at a diner in a sting to catch health inspectors accepting pay-offs; and Belker tries to persuade "Captain Freedom" to leave the crime-fighting to the police. Commercials deleted.
