A.K.A. PABLO: THE BIG MOUTH (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about a stand-up comedian and his large Mexican family. In this episode, comedian Paul "Pablo" Rivera is preparing for his first appearance on "The Merv Griffin Show." Everyone in the family is proud and excited except his father, who can't understand why his son has chosen comedy as a profession. On the show, Pablo is a hit with the audience, but his family is hurt and disappointed because he has used them as material for his jokes. The following day, no one in the family will speak to him, and he promises to apologize to each one of them publicly when he makes his second appearance on Merv's show. All goes well until the audience starts laughing and Pablo once again resorts to using his family's character flaws to keep them laughing. Includes commercials and a promo.
