Summary
The premiere of this series of dramas about the cases of hardboiled Los Angeles private detective Joe Mannix. In this episode, Mannix, who works for a computerized detective agency known as Intertect, is hired to rescue Angela Dubrio, the daughter of former rackets boss Sam Dubrio. In an elaborate scheme, Mannix bribes the ransom pick-up man, Eddie, in hopes of locating Angela. When Mannix does find her, however, the would-be rescue takes a bizarre turn. Commercials deleted.
