Summary

Part one of this fairy-tale opera commissioned for NBC television about Griffelkin, a little devil who on his tenth birthday receives a bottle of magic liquid and a day on earth. In this portion, Griffelkin goes to earth and brings to life a statue who sings about the life of a statue. A mailbox sings about its life. Griffelkin brings two stone lions to life. A girl asks Griffelkin to help her mother who is sick. Griffelkin brings to life dolls in a toy store. Continues with T83:0573.
