RED SKELTON'S CHRISTMAS DINNER (TV)

Summary

A musical Christmas story featuring Red Skelton as one of his most famous characters, Freddy the freeloader. Freddy bails fellow hobo Professor Humperdoo out of jail so they may share a Christmas dinner. They finagle their way into a posh restaurant by pretending to be very wealthy. Though their identities are soon revealed, Christmas cheer prevails and they enjoy a fancy dinner. Skelton sings "Christmas Comes But Once a Year," "I Believe," and others.
