Summary
One in this series of western dramas about Marshal Matt Dillon, lawman of Dodge City, Kansas, and the people who live in and pass through that town in the closing decades of the 19th century. In this episode, after being wounded in his shooting arm during a bank robbery, Dillon is unable to adequately protect Dodge City, so he gets a replacement and hits the trail to convalesce. In the wilderness, Dillon saves the life of a young army deserter who later helps him fight off a gang of vengeful bank robbers. Commercials deleted.
