
GUNSMOKE: THE WIVING (TV)
Summary
One in this series of western dramas about Marshal Matt Dillon, lawman of Dodge City, Kansas, and the people who live in and pass through that town in the closing decades of the 19th century. In this episode, Jed Hockett orders his three bumpkin sons to go into town and get themselves wives. Afraid of returning empty-handed, the boys kidnap four saloon women. At the farm, the Hocketts win over their initially reluctant captives before Dillon arrives. Commercials deleted.
