
GUNSMOKE: THE COLONEL (TV)
Summary
One in this series of western dramas about Marshal Matt Dillon, lawman of Dodge City, Kansas, and the people who live in and pass through that town in the closing decades of the 19th century. In this episode, Carl asks the town drunk, Josiah, to watch his store while he is gone. After a fire destroys the store, Josiah's embarrassment and shame are made worse when he recognizes Carl's fiancée as his own daughter. In the end, however, Josiah redeems himself. Commercials deleted.
