Summary

The fourth season premiere in this series of dramas, based on the novels by Erle Stanley Gardner, about the cases of trial attorney Perry Mason, who proves his clients' innocence by solving the crimes himself, with assistance from his savvy secretary Della Street and private investigator Paul Drake. In this episode, a man is murdered after his surprise return following a two-year absence. Mason defends the man whose toupe was found in the victim's clenched fist and tries to flush out the real murderer with a phony eyewitness. Commercials deleted.
