Summary

One in this series of dramas, based on the novels by Erle Stanley Gardner, about the cases of trial attorney Perry Mason, who proves his clients' innocence by solving the crimes himself, with assistance from his savvy secretary Della Street and private investigator Paul Drake. In this episode, Mason defends Carla Chaney against charges that she murdered Gerald Haven. Carla, arriving at Haven's home and finding him dead, recalls hearing hysterical laughter. Mason sets out to find the source. Commercials deleted.
