Summary
The pilot for this police drama about two policewomen, Chris Cagney and Mary Beth Lacey. In this pilot, Cagney and Lacey pose as prostitutes, investigate the murder of a Jewish diamond merchant, and contend with the sexism of their colleagues. While Det. Lacey takes up the cause of battered prostitutes, Cagney takes on a murder case left unresolved by one of the male detectives. And ultimately, Cagney solves the murder case and earns the respect of a male colleague. Commercials deleted.
