Highlights of this portion include the following: Carson's monologue with mention of the Watergate trials; a singing dog contest; Carson, James Drury, and Doug McClure in a stunt barroom brawl; Carson with a striptease; Carson interviewed as "Shirley Dimple"; Robert Mandan as a Frenchman replying to Carson's De Gaulle jokes; Carson with various stunts; Ed Ames demonstrates tomahawk-throwing, having played a Native American on "Daniel Boone"; clips of Carson trying variouis athletic feats; Jack Webb and Carson with a spoof of "Dragnet"; TV commercial parodies; and clips of various animals that appeared on the program. Commercials include Joe Namath for Beautymist pantyhose.
