Nixon's speech accepting the Republican presidential nomination, Cronkite terms Nixon "Mr. Republican," says he had superior campaign organization, and says the choice of Gov. Spiro Agnew of Maryland as his running mate was the only surprise. Mike Wallace introduces a political biography, with film clips, of Nixon. The biography includes Nixon's 1962 loss to Edmund Brown in the California gubernatorial race, relations between Nixon and Gov.
