CONVERSATIONS WITH ERIC SEVAREID {FINAL PROGRAM} (TV)

Summary

The final program in this series of irregularly scheduled interviews hosted by Eric Sevareid. In this program, Sevareid talks with Anne Morrow Lindbergh, author and widow of Charles A. Lindbergh. Accompanied by film footage, they discuss the mood of the 1920s and popularity of Lindbergh's solo trans-Atlantic flight (with clips of his takeoff and New York City ticker-tape parade), how the Lindberghs met, the kidnapping of their child, Lindbergh's unpopular alliance with the isolationists' cause, and Anne's book, "The Wave of the Future."
