Summary

One in this series of dramas re-enacting major historical events and covering them as current news stories. This program is a re-enactment of the events surrounding the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773. CBS News reporters visit Boston's Old South Hall to see John Hancock, John and Samuel Adams, and other members of the Sons of Liberty, as they debate over the harsh British taxation on tea. They also stop in at the meetinghouse of the Sons of Liberty and watch as rebels plot to throw the East India Tea Company's cargo into the Boston Harbor.
