ACCORDING TO JIM: CHERYL GONE WILD

Summary

One in this comedy series about Jim, a construction business owner in Chicago, and his ongoing battles with his wife, three kids and in-laws. In this episode, Jim struggles with his easy chair, finally getting it out to the curb and leaving a "free chair" sign on it. Flashing back to one hour earlier, Jim, Andy, and Ryan eagerly watch a raunchy "Cuties Gone Crazy" DVD. Meanwhile, Dana wonders why Cheryl isn't concerned about the three men alone in the living room watching a skin flick. However, both women are quickly concerned when Dana notices that the men are viewing the Fort Lauderdale edition of "Cuties Gone Crazy," a program in which they flashed the camera while on a getaway in Florida years ago. Now, the two need to figure out how to distract the men before they -- and their breasts -- appear on screen. However, their plan doesn't work and soon the men have realized that Dana is on the DVD and, not surprisingly, Ryan is upset. After Ryan accepts Dana's apology, Cheryl thinks she has come out unscathed. Then, the men restart the DVD and learn that Cheryl also flashed. Jim is furious but eventually forgives Cheryl's wild streak -- until realizing that the event didn't occur that long ago. Now, Jim is unable to get over the fact that Cheryl flashed her breasts on camera while she was married to him and the mother of Gracie and Ruby. Jim wonders how many other people have now seen Cheryl's breasts. Jim is even more upset when he learns that the money Cheryl earned from the flashing went toward the purchase of his easy chair. Thus, Jim discards it curbside. Later, Cheryl starts throwing away all the belongings that remind her of stupid things Jim has done in the past, which is just about everything they own. Jim refuses to yield, however, and another battle begins between husband and wife. After Dana tries in vain to reason with Jim, the war of who's owed a bigger apology begins. Includes commercials.
