IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: LET GO, LET GOLF (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about a group of high school acquaintances from Westwood South High's class of 1987. This episode opens with a "not bitter" Harry talking about his ex-wife and how everyone "loses" stuff, including Jason who lost his job and now works as a volunteer at Joanna's hospital, Sherman who lost his home and wife Stephanie, and Kelly who lost her way en route to law school. Harry further reveals that those three are all living with him now. Harry then picks up Dylan at ex-wife Maureen's house, and steals more of her things before leaving. Elsewhere, Sherman tries to figure out what the note left by Stephanie for him means. Meanwhile, Jason continues flirting with Joanna, who is concerned about her cancer-ridden grandmother, Rose. Jason convinces Joanna to let Rose die on her own terms. Later, Harry is confused when he sees that Kelly has a golf ball in her purse. Eventually, Sherman learns that his wife has moved in with "spiritual fraud" Guru Danny. Thus, Sherman and Harry head to the ashram where Sherman finds all his possessions. He also finds that Stephanie has taken a vow of silence. Meanwhile, a now-concerned Jason tries to convince Rose to keep on living so that Joanna won't move up her wedding date. At the same time, Kelly forces Dylan to secretly tag along with her to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Afterward, Harry snaps when he learns what Kelly did. Then, Kelly details a golfing-related incident that caused her to accidentally kill her husband. Afterward, Sherman convinces Harry to break into the ashram with him so that they can steal his stuff back, not realizing that they will have to negotiate with Guru Danny. As a result of the encounter, Harry puts "life lessons" into effect for himself, Kelly, Sherman, and Jason, realizing that they all need to let things go. Includes commercials.
