EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS: PILOT {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)

Summary

The pilot in this comedy series that takes place in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in 1982, the year Chris Rock turned 13. In this episode, Chris's family moves out of the projects and to Bed-Stuy, famous for the motto, "Do or Die, Bed-Stuy." Now that Chris is 13 he thinks life is going to be "cool," but instead he faces a harsh reality which includes being bused to a "white" junior high, having to take care of his two younger siblings, and unfortunately finding out what happens when one accidentally eats daddy's big piece of chicken. Commercials deleted.
