Summary
The first of two episodes on this tape. One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, a pair of Carrie's beloved shoes goes missing after she's made to remove them at her friend Kyra's baby shower; when Kyra lectures Carrie about her self-indulgent lifestyle instead of offering to replace her shoes, Carrie is left to wonder whether adults have forgotten how to accept each other's personal choices. In the meantime, Charlotte struggles to accept new husband Harry's habit of leaving used tea bags around the house; a handsome single doctor moves into Miranda's building and helps her cope with a case of the chicken pox; and Samantha fumes about a toddler's behavior in a restaurant.
