Summary
The first of two programs on this tape. One in this drama series that revolves around the staff of a medical defense and indemnity organization which advises and defends doctors against potential lawsuits and provides compensation to patients where negligence is proven. In this episode, Richard battles MDA on behalf of a model/dancer unhappy with her plastic surgery results; the MDA defends a doctor who mistook a pregnancy for menopause; Happy expects the worse when his ever-disappointing son Jason is recruited to work on the MDA website; Tony suspects that a teenager's injuries are not accidental; Sam and Layla consider their relationship on the eve of his departure for Thailand; and pregnant Ed considers moving to the country.
