CELEBRITY MOLE: HAWAII {EPISODE SIX: WINNER DECLARED AND MOLE REVEALED} {THIRD SEASON FINALE} (TV)

Summary

The season finale in the celebrity version of this reality series in which contestants compete in physical and psychological games, the whole time trying to overcome a saboteur from within -- the mole. First, host Ahmad Rashad recaps the highlights from the season, leading up to the three celebrities remaining: comedienne Kathy Griffin, actor Erik von Detten, and supermodel Frederique van der Wal. Rashad explains that a few months have passed since the three took their final quiz, and the results are now tabulated. Each celebrity waits behind one of three sealed doors, anxious to know if they will take home the $233,000 pot. First, Rashad shows the "suspicious moments" each exhibited during the season that seemingly point to them as the mole. Afterward, Rashad introduces the four "executed" competitors: Corbin Bernsen, Kim Coles, Michael Boatman, and Stephen Baldwin. They discuss why they were unable to make it to the final three. They also reveal their guess for the mole's identity. Next, Rashad reveals the show's winner to be Griffin. Then, the mole is revealed to be van der Wal. Finally, a gloomy and much-maligned von Detten joins the ranks of the executed. Rashad discusses the coalition Griffin formed with von Detten before clips show how it happened. Rashad also reveals how Griffin and von Detten were nearly eliminated on several occasions. Rashad also reveals how Griffin was able to finally figure out that van der Wal was the mole before defeating coalition partner von Detten in the final. Next, never-before-seen footage shows the "man behind the mouth," Baldwin, and some of his more outrageous moments. Then, footage shows how Bernsen was obsessed with looking for clues where none existed. Then, clips show how mole van der Wal used her beauty and wits to sabotage several games. Afterward, Rashad and the other contestants salute her efforts. Finally, Rashad reveals the hidden clues in each episode which pointed to the identity of the mole. Includes commercials.
