SIX FEET UNDER: I'M SORRY, I'M LOST {THIRD SEASON FINALE} (TV)

Summary

The third season finale in this series about the Fisher clan, a loving -- if dysfunctional -- family struggling to maintain a sense of normalcy in the face of the stressful day-to-day operations of the eccentric family business, a funeral home in Los Angeles. In this episode, a strange chain of events leads to the death of Anahid Hovanessian by falling "blue ice" (expelled airplane bathroom waste). Nate inexplicably goes running in the middle of the night, leaving Maya alone as the rest of the family gathers in his room pondering his recent binge drinking. Meanwhile, Rico, furious at Vanessa and Angelica, goes to salsa dance class by himself, eventually ending up at a gentleman's club with a fellow classmate, before his night ends with him in his car with a stripper known as Infinity. Also, Brenda meets her handsome, French horn-playing neighbor Joe and makes it clear that, though she will go on a date with him, she will not sleep with him. Later, David and Claire have interactions with their deceased father, something which lands Claire a guest pass to a heaven-like place where she learns that ex-beau Gabe Dimas as well as Lisa are now dead. At George and Ruth's wedding, Claire uncharacteristically cries. Nate, who had learned that Lisa's remains have been found, misses the wedding and goes to a honky-tonk instead where he alternates between Budweisers and tequila shots, before getting into a fight, and then driving himself -- drunk, bloody and battered -- to Brenda's.
