SOPRANOS, THE: WATCHING TOO MUCH TELEVISION (TV)
Summary
One in this darkly comic, dramatic series centering around the crime empire and family life of Tony Soprano, a modern-day Mafia boss. In this episode, Paulie's return from four months in jail is celebrated with a huge bash at the Bing. Cousin Brian tips off Tony and Ralphie to a HUD real estate scam which they then try to orchestrate with a little help from Assemblyman Zellman and his buddy Maurice. Meanwhile, Adriana, feeling pressure from the FBI, gets a harebrained idea from a television show that she and Chris should marry, thinking that she will then never have to testify against him in court. Paulie, upset with Tony's treatment of him, continues his double-crossing relationship with Johnny Sack. Chris agrees to Adriana's "proposal," but becomes enraged and calls things off when he learns of her infertility. The episode ends with Tony unleashing a fit of brutality on Zellman after realizing that he has been dating Tony's ex-mistress Irina.
