SOPRANOS, THE: WHITECAPS {FOURTH SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
The fourth season finale in this darkly comic, dramatic series centering around the crime empire and family life of Tony Soprano, a modern-day Mafia boss. In this episode, Christopher is released from rehab, while a disheveled Carmela is checked at the hospital for a bizarre illness. Tony considers buying the family a beach house on the Jersey shore and is forced to deal with the slick lawyer, Alan Sapinsly, that owns the place. Meanwhile, Junior's trial reaches a hung jury. Also, Tony and Johnny Sack work on hammering out a deal with Carmine, but ultimately decide to whack him, enlisting Christopher. An intoxicated Irina calls the Soprano home and tells Carmela about Tony's past cuckoldries, shooting Carmela into a fit of rage during which she throws Tony out of the house. With an impending divorce, Tony decides to back off his new real estate purchase and asks for his deposit back; when Sapinsly refuses, Tony is forced to play hardball with a little help from a Dean Martin record.
