OUT OF THE BOX: REVEALING FEELINGS (TV)

Summary

One in this children's series hosted by Vivian and Tony, who lead activities with their preschool friends Aleisha, Nick, and Celine. In this episode, Vivian announces that Tony is home sick with a cold. After Vivian picks up the children, they tell her that they are worried about Tony. Vivian realizes that the kids might need to talk about their feelings before they can focus any energy on something else. Nick says he is feeling "blah," and the others agree. After talking for a little while about their emotions, they sing a song about feelings and the importance of not hiding them. The kids then decide to make a card for Tony. Each draws a picture, and the group members tape them together to make a card. They go on to sing a song about seeing things from other people's perspectives. They act out a story about Cinderella and her sister Lazylocks, narrated by Vivian. Prince Charming also plays a role; he helps Cinderella and Lazylocks see each other's perspectives. The program concludes as Vivian, Aleisha, Nick, and Celine sing a good-bye song. This program is closed-captioned.
