Summary
One in this comedy series about parcel delivery man Doug Heffernan, who lives in Queens, New York with his wife Carrie and his father-in-law Arthur. In this two-part episode, Arthur's monopolization of the bathroom, through a series of events, causes Carrie to get pregnant, and Doug to have to buy Arthur his own bathroom in the basement. Carrie worries about telling Doug about their accidental pregnancy, feeling that they aren't financially ready for a baby, but Arthur reveals her secret. Also, Deacon and Kelly try to reconcile and save their marriage. With the baby on the way, Doug takes a night job as a limo driver. The job gets the best of him as he becomes sleep-deprived and caffeine-fueled, constantly fielding phone calls from Carrie asking what baby purchases she should make and Arthur pleading for the completion of his bathroom. Meanwhile, Carrie begins learning things about motherhood that she had never even considered before. Also, Deacon finally moves out of Spence's apartment. The episode ends with Carrie losing the baby due to a miscarriage. Commercials deleted.
