Summary
One in this comedy series about Mary Richards, a single career woman working in a television newsroom. In this episode, Mary is tired of the type of men she has been dating. Georgette suggests that Mary's boss, Lou Grant, may be the ideal person for her, and Mary asks Lou out on a date. After getting over the initial shock of the proposition, Lou decides to take her up on it. The two friends attempt to have a romantic dinner but find that they each feel too nervous and awkward about the situation to do so. In an effort to cut to the chase and discern whether they are good for each other, Mary and Lou kiss. Commercials deleted.
