SEX AND THE CITY: COCK A DOODLE DO! {THIRD SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, Carrie wonders whether her problems with her past relationships stem from her ex-boyfriends or from her after she and Miranda bump into Aidan and Steve, who both have new girlfriends. Across town, Samantha contends with noisy transsexual hookers who stand outside her window, making it impossible for her to sleep or concentrate on her male guest. Miranda realizes that she is in a rut when she discovers that she has been ordering the same dinner from the same Chinese restaurant since her break-up. Carrie must face up to her past relationship demons when a separated Mr. Big calls to ask her to lunch. Confused, Carrie talks to Miranda about the situation, but the two wind up fighting when Miranda insists that she will not be there to cry to if Carrie gets hurt again. In the meantime, Charlotte laments over her separation from Trey, swearing off men -- until Trey arrives at her new apartment finally eager to consummate their marriage. Carrie has her much-anticipated meeting with Big, and Miranda realizes why she has clung to her favorite Chinese restaurant when she sees Steve eating there. After some down and dirty fighting with the transsexual hookers, Samantha solves her noise problem once and for all.
