DARK SHADOWS {MATTHEW TRIES TO KILL VICKY} (TV)
Summary
This is the first of two episodes on this tape. One in this gothic daytime serial about the Collins family of Collinsport, Maine. In this episode, grounds keeper Matthew Morgan has gone completely mad and is keeping Victoria prisoner in the Old House, bound and gagged in the secret room. Young David knows that Matthew has kidnapped Vicky, but his irate father, Roger, won't listen to his tales. David later sees the ghost of Bill Malloy -- Matthew's first murder victim -- who urges David to help Vicky. Bill's ghost also appears to Matthew, promising that someone will die at Collinwood before the night is over. Burke, now in love with Vicky, rushes to Collinwood after David asks for his help. In the meantime, Vicky frees herself from her ropes but is caught by Matthew before she can get out the front door. Matthew promises to kill her before she can escape again.
