FELICITY: FELICITY WAS HERE {FIRST SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this dramatic series about a privileged, impulsive girl named Felicity Porter, who studies in New York City and undergoes the rites of passage toward adulthood. In this episode, freshman year draws to a close, and Felicity is pressed to make plans for summer vacation that could affect her relationships with all of her friends. In recent weeks, Felicity and Ben have grown closer, and they have begun to develop romantic feelings for each other. Meanwhile, Ben has broken up with Julie, and Julie has backed out of the road trip that they had planned to take with Felicity and Noel. Noel has also backed out of the trip because he has been offered a summer position in Berlin. Although Felicity is also planning to cancel, Julie asks her to take the trip alone with Ben in order to find out if there is another woman he is interested in or involved with. Julie has no idea that Ben has been flirting with Felicity, and Felicity is scared to admit the truth. When Noel invites Felicity to travel with him to Berlin, she is both excited about the opportunity and relieved to be removed from a sticky situation. Felicity is well aware that taking the trip with Ben would ultimately hurt both Noel and Julie, but the temptation is strong. Unfortunately, Julie happens to eavesdrop on a very ambiguous conversation between Felicity and Ben, and the entire situation explodes. Elena advises Felicity to take a risk and choose Ben, but Elena is preoccupied with her own confusion concerning Professor McGrath. At the last minute, Felicity must choose between Ben or Noel, or remove herself from the situation altogether. Commercials deleted.
